Can Bill or someone PLEASE help.
I came pretty close to getting in a heap of trouble cause I didn't know any better and I'm trying to find out what the rules are. I have a 48'x102" spread axle trailer.
1) as far as California goes, How do you determine your kingpin to rear axle measurement for a spread axle trailer?----- some states say "to center of rear axle group" and I think Cal says to "center of rear axle".
2)How can I find out which roads I can legally drive on if I exceed the 65'length or 40' kingpin limit?--- I was under the impression that you were legal on Interstates and US Highways anytime and on state highways unless otherwise posted.
