Postby badman976 on March 12th, 2001

that is a stupid question but i guess you were just curious some of us are married and just have to wait until we get back home and handle or business and some others MIGHT turn to the lot lizard ((edited)) or take care of or business manually if you know what i mean. now i hope you have better question than what to do if were lonely like maybe you should ask what a d.o.t. expection is or how do you slide tadums or what ever i belive this room if for asking advice and asking about all the other trucking companies out there.
and congrads on you graduating into driver ranks do u know who your going to drive for?

don't start no **** and there want be no **** <img src="http://Truck.Net.infopop.cc/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif" alt="Roll Eyes" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin::rolleyes:-->

Great Point...

Sometimes Questions only seem stupid... in this case I agree with BadMan... that was a stupid question and a waste of space on the boards. <img src="http://Truck.Net.infopop.cc/infopop/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif" alt="Roll Eyes" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin::rolleyes:-->

CHECK THE LOCAL PAPER....

Postby choclit snda on March 12th, 2001

the Sunday paper Usually have More of a Selection.

or...get the Phone book out & look up a few companies that look good to you.

After you get some Experience under your belt, you may want to check CFI.

CRST

US Express

Roehl

Schneider

<A HREF="http://www.pumpkindriver.com" TARGET=_blank>www.pumpkindriver.com</A>

I can tell by your post that you must have been at the top of your class!! I thought your questions were very well thought out and quite interesting.Im going to give you some advice as Ive been driving a long long time and have tons of experence.First you need to go to PRIME! If they dont want you for some reason try CR ENGLAND,and if you dont like them go SCHNEIDER!! I can tell that you must have been a prof,in your life and take my word for it these companys need someone of your stature to work for them!!

Now that's not very Nice

Postby Jim Spin on March 14th, 2001

But in all Seriousness... All you really have to do is find some companies that interest you. (flatbed, van, etc.) look on the internet, on the road, in truckstops, or even in magazines... When you have a list of carriers that you think you might want to work for, just come on back and search the boards for info about them. There is so much info here you'll be amazed. All you have to do is take the time to find it. Asking a question that has been asked a million times is usually the best way to get a negative response from everyone here. My suggestion is to use the SEARCH feature at the top and if you don't find anything the first time, re-word your search.
RE: that other poster; If you can see the sarcasm then you would realize that he is telling you to stay away from those companies. I don't think it was really a personal attack.
Remember, If they don't say it to your face, then you shouldn't take it personally. <img src="http://Truck.Net.infopop.cc/infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif" alt="Big Grin" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin::D-->

Forget working for some stupid trucking company! The only person who can take care of you is YOU! Be your own boss! Buy or Lease your own dream truck rather than some hand me down company truck.

Financial and Emotional independence is what a driver like you needs, visit your local big truck dealer.

You deserve to drive for PRIME. Just go north and never come back, Your mouth is a trash hole. MJ has the rite idea for you, and also buy the most expensive hood you can find. You will make more money with a more pricy truck!!!!
